The Fall Season Brings Enhanced Details
Written by Jack Creveling, our Golf Course Superintendent.
As you make your way around the course during your golf games, you may notice some quiet improvements that the Golf Course Maintenance Team has performed during the past few weeks.
This week, we began walk mowing of tees. This will provide a better surface and improved aesthetics for golfers who use our course throughout the fall, winter, and spring. In addition, plants have been added around the tee signs at holes 14, 16, 17, and 18. With these additions, all of the hole signs on the golf course are now highlighted by landscape features.
Also, during the last few weeks, the waste bunkers on holes 1, 8, and 18 had fresh material added to them in order to create a better appearance and an improved playing medium for our golfers.
Members, check out these quiet details next time you’re playing golf and keep enjoying our beautiful course!
