Florida Summers are Hard on More than Just the Golfers…

Summer conditions are hard on more than just the golfers playing in the 90 degree heat. The summer weather here in Ocala can also put significant wear on the golf course amenities that are exposed to the sun, wind, and rain such as the flags that fly over our beautiful golf course.

Early November is a great time to replace the flags on the golf course for in season play and they should last well into the spring. This year, the team at Golden Ocala has updated the flag design to reflect a more traditional look. The new flag design looks clean – it has no words except the club logo. In photos below, you can see the difference.
