You have to have done it – to have played this counterintuitive sport – to understand, to grasp its instinctive elements; playing golf is about finding your second nature and discovering the simple truth that brute strength and raw power don’t make for success, that golf is closer to an art form than a sport.

We at Golden Golf & Equestrian Club understand intimately that this sport – this physically gentle and invigorating form of recreation – underscores some very unique and special skills.

That’s why we’re offering our Junior Golf Clinics that break down this sport into easily understandable elements. Our next clinic is July 28 – 30. Clinic fees are $100 per child for members or $125 for children of nonmembers. Children must be 6 -13. The two-hour clinics begin at 9 a.m. daily.

Day clinics are July 16 and 30. Cost is $30 for children of members and $40 for children of nonmembers. Age requirements are 14 – 18. The two-hour sessions begin at 2 p.m.

Professionals will teach children about grip, aim, setup, putting, chipping, pitching and the full swing.
