The month of March is sure to be a busy one at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club with events scheduled to suit a variety of interests. So get ready to save-the-dates on your mobile devices or pencil them in on the calendar.

Men’s Golf Tournament

The guys tee off on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 for the Men’s 2015 Club Championship. Golfers can select one of three divisions: Championship Flight, White Tee Flight, and Green Tee Flight.

Registration is $125 and includes trophies, gift certificates, awards and the luncheon on Sunday. The deadline to submit the registration form is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. For more information, contact the golf pro shop at 352-671-3933.

 Low Country Boil, Florida Style

Bring your appetite for the Low Country Boil set for 6 – 9 p.m. on March 21, 2015. The event, on the Knickers’ patio, will feature a scrumptious low country boil faire of crab fingers, jumbo shrimp, smoked sausage, Andouille sausage, mussels, red potatoes, carrots, onions and corn on the cob! Mouthwatering for sure!

On the side menu, compliments will include green beans, black-eyed pea salad, macaroni & cheese, hush puppies and corn bread. In the pan, deserts will feature blackberry cobbler served with vanilla bean ice cream. And we can’t have a low country boil without a glass of iced tea! So who’s ready to eat?

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Amanda & Scott Anderson Band. The father-daughter led band performs a mixture of bluegrass, country, folk and American tunes.

Reservations are required for the members-only Low County Boil. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling the Clubhouse at 352-629-6229.

 Head to the Gym

The aerobics floor in the Fitness Center is scheduled to be refinished this month. Work will begin on March 16 and the new floor will be ready for use on March 27. Classes will be limited during this period so make sure to check the class schedule.

March Dinner Dates

The month will include four opportunities to enjoy Prime Rib at Knickers prepared by Chef Rick. Choose to dine at Knickers for Prime Rib Night on:

• Friday, March 13
• Sunday, March 15
• Friday, March 27
• Sunday, March 29
