Conditioning for Autumn – The Best Conditioner for Your Hair!

Written by Melodie Garcia, Hairdresser at Golden Ocala.

Autumn is now approaching us and this brings about all sorts of seasonal changes. We must be aware that our hair will also need care and attention to remain healthy during these changes. Most people are only concerned with protecting their hair from the sun and hot tools during an active summer season. However, if you have been washing your hair a lot and it’s chemically treated in any way, you will still suffer from dry hair and color fading during the fall season. With the summer coming to an end, we need to replenish our dry hair and add moisture and color if your hair seems faded and dull.

My Personal Recommendations

A great conditioner I recommend for ladies is Powerdose. For men, I recommend the Redkin conditioner (no, men are not excluded from the summer sun). We carry both conditioners here at the Golden Ocala salon. Give your hair the nourishment it deserves and power in some of the nutrients it may have lost during the summer with the incell-tecnology.

Another awesome treatment I highly recommend is the L’Oreal Fiberceutic hair treatment. If you love your long hair and do not like getting haircuts, this is the treatment for you. Fiberceutic is an intra-cylane liquid that repairs split ends, sealing and restoring your long hair. This treatment rejuvenates damaged or weak hair, leaving it feeling stronger and more full of life.

The last thing I would like to mention is adding some dimensional color to your hair. This looks especially awesome on blondes who have faded-looking, monochromatic hair. Adding just a few low lights can give your hair depth and zest.
