Golden Ocala’s Ladies Tennis Team Remains Undefeated

The 2.5 Lady Mustangs continue to rise, winning another match Oct. 23. The team maintains an undefeated record of 4-0.

The Mustangs’ next match is Friday, Nov. 6 at the Fort King Tennis Center.

“I am so excited and proud of my team. It has been a great start to the season, and we are fortunate to have excellent coaching and dedicated players. We are hoping to continue our success as the competition is tough,” said team captain Jacquelyn Silitch.

We at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian congratulate our team of hard-training and skilled players. The team practices twice a week and organizes its own match plays. The team is for women 55 and over. The tennis season began in early October.

The teams in the ladies’ day league include the Mustangs and the Fillies. Players have been practicing and training this summer. The teams are for players at 2.5 and 3.5 levels.

Some of the best amateur players in the country have been training with the teams. Many of the women team members played tennis on the collegiate level.
