The 2015 Spring Parade of Homes tour, coordinated by the Marion County Building Industry Association, will be underway Friday, March 14th and runs through Sunday, March 29th. The two week event features 31 homes throughout the region.

MCBIA President Todd Taylor said, “The 2015 MCBIA Spring Parade of Homes is a signature event of the association and with the largest field of entries in years, we expect record public attendance to tour and view the 31 home entries.”

During the three weekends of the tour, homes are open to view on Saturdays from 11 am to 6 pm and on Sundays from 1-5 pm. Tours during the week can be arranged by calling the individual builder.

Home On Tour

The “Regal Eagle” model in the Eagles Landing neighborhood of Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is included in the Parade of Homes tour. The two-story single family home is an estate villa featuring three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a two-car garage. The luxury home offers water and golf course views.

“Golden Ocala is to put it simply, a grand luxury resort style community. To find a community of equal value you would need to travel to Atlanta, Naples or Palm Beach,” said Janet Fetterman, Broker Associate with Golden Ocala/Royal Shell Real Estate.

Fetterman adds, “In a recent sale the appraiser for the bank had to go to these Florida communities to find comparable homes and the net result was an appraisal $22,000 over the actual purchase price. Our homes are great value for the price.”

In addition to the Regal Eagle model, nine furnished models will also be open for potential homebuyers during the Parade of Homes this year.
