On the way to the tenth hole or the final hole grandstands at the LPGA Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers at Golden Ocala, fans passing by the sales office of Royal Shell Real Estate stopped by to inquire about real estate listings and home tours during the LPGA.

Michael Polly, vice president of Royal Shell Real Estate, said there’s been a steady interest in the homes at Golden Ocala. Real Estate agents started conducting homes tours on Monday, the first day golf fans began arriving to watch players practice ahead of the tournament, which started on Wednesday.

He added that there has also been a lot of interest in club memberships at Golden Ocala.

Royal Shell sales agent Linda Flack manned a table outside the sales tent to greet golf fans as they walked by. She’d attached her business card to the daily parings brochure and the give-a-way golf tees.

“When they pass by, they are really trying to get out to not miss a player, but I think after the event is over, we will get a lot of calls because they will Google Golden Ocala,” Flack said. “This is exposing Golden Ocala to thousands of people.”

The fairway of Hole 12 provides a great preview of homes in Masters Village. The galleries following leaders Stacy Lewis and Lydia Ko, along with Michelle Wie and Inbee Park admired the lavish outdoor living spaces of homes visible along the fairway. Several homes include infinity pools, adding an elegant touch to the picturesque space.

Golden Ocala’s Hole 12 is a tribute hole to Augusta National’s Hole 13, and the homes on the fairway serve as one of the live coverage angles of the Golf Channel.

Inbee Park, Paula Creamer, and Michelle Wie play Hole 12 at Golden Ocala, where fans line the sidewaks in front of Masters Village.

As spectators made their way by, many wondered about the size of the homes and price. Several added “having the LPGA playing in your backyard is a nice perk.”

It’s anticipated that crowds attending the event will top 40,000 people for the week and with an additional 1.5 million viewing the tournament on television, Golden Ocala hopes it will be a perfect showcase for future home buyers.
