Congratulations to Jimmy Letterly for winning this year’s Men’s Club Championship from the black (championship) tees, which stretched out to 7,010 yards in length! Jimmy fired a one under par 71 in the first round to take the early lead, then held off Brent Dorman in the final round by shooting a three over par 75 to capture the title. Jim Sprung won the net division from the championship tees with a two day total of 157.

Dave Mears won the gross division in the white tee flight by shooting 77-73, while Larry Sheveland shot 142 over the weekend.

Jack Madden won the gross division in the green tee flight with rounds of 75-81. Dr. Jim Chicklo won the net division from the green tees by shooting 12 under par (132) for the two days.

Thanks to all who came out to this year’s Club Championship at Golden Ocala on April 5th and 6th, 2014. Our golf course was in excellent condition thanks to our Golf Course Superintendent, Jack Creveling and his entire staff.
