If you are looking for a new way to improve your golf game, Golden Ocala has the solution for you with our Golf Health program. What is “Golf Health”?  Golf Health is a program focused on integrating the mind and body in relation to the game of golf. You’ve have probably heard the expression, “The mind is a terrible thing to waste”. This is especially true when it comes to keeping your head up after you hit a solid drive right into a bunker. Everyone knows when you let your mind get frazzled, your golf game suffers too! Golf Health will help you connect the physical and mental aspects of the sport to improve your overall game.

How it Works

Incorporating stretch exercises with isometric movements and strength building helps keep the mind stay connected with specific body movements. The idea is to have the body and mind work as one. This is one of the best kept secrets used by professionals in the PGA and LPGA. The movie Caddy Shack references this perfectly when the character Ty Webb was demonstrating putting to Danny. Ty says, “Be the ball Danny”.  All joking aside, the idea of having the mind and body work as one will improve your game on and off the golf course. That’s what I am here to help you do. Let’s work together to lower your handicaps and make playing on our beautiful course the best experience ever. Join me for the Golf Health classes:  Monday and Wednesday from  8:00 am-8:30 am in our aerobics room.
