Golden Ocala Golf Course Undergoes Minor Maintenance Following Summer Storms
We know why you play on the Golden Ocala golf course.
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club makes golfing available at its finest. Players have the opportunity to play on an 18-hole championship course designed by Ron Garl. The course contains tribute holes from the some of the world’s best courses including Augusta, Royal Troon, Baltusrol, Muirfield and St. Andrews.
The Golf Shop at Golden Ocala offers clubs, clothing and a wide variety of golf accessories, stocking only the finest in the sport. Private lessons are available with Golden Ocala’s PGA professional instructors.
This is why we spend so much time and invest so much energy into making the Golden Ocala golf course the best and most beautiful in the sport.
But occasionally nature disrupts the best of intentions and rudely strews our landscaping artistry. June’s big, wet bluster and July’s melancholic gusto introduced muggy August, so the brave members of our course crew occasionally have to venture forth to repair and mend the messes Florida brings.
Thanks for Your Patience
We thank our avid players for their patience while our maintenance crews go forth, following those occasions of inclement weather, to restore the course to its pristine condition and redo those added aesthetic touches.
We try to do the course work promptly and artfully in order to keep your game on track.
Living in the Sunshine State does come with its ups and downs. But it’s mostly ups.
Although high temperatures in the last few weeks have nearly reached the 3-digit mark (100), Florida’s hottest month (July) is behind us. August’s average daily high temperature is 91 with an average low of 71. And September? The average high and low are 90 and 72. Then we head into amazing October: 84 and 64. One more. November: 77 and 55.
So, the golfing forecast at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club for the next few months: super duper. Isn’t that why you play golf at Golden Ocala?
