New Fitness Equipment
In anticipation of members’ health-inspired New Year’s resolutions, Golden Ocala has ordered 87 new pieces of equipment for its first-class Fitness Center! Set to arrive this month, these are branded by Life Fitness — a best-in-its-industry company with over 50 years of experience in rapid innovation and up-to-the-minute technology. We believe in this digital movement so much that we’re placing the very same equipment in our all-new World Equestrian Center as well as at our facilities in Wilmington, Ohio. So, get ready to work those abs, climb those stairs and join an overall fitness evolution!
Types and Benefits of Equipment
Members will experience cardiovascular equipment as well as treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and stair steppers. Each piece is specifically designed to articulate the way the human body moves. Collectively, they provide accommodating exercises that are equally as effective in conditioning muscles as they are at keeping the body’s joints ambulatory. So, as the body matures, this equipment will help you avoid overexertion and injury as well as enhance strength, conditioning and resistance.
Use of Equipment
These machines can be used for personal and independent weight training, not to mention partnership training and injury-related rehabilitation. Additionally, new foam rollers, light dumbbells and resistance tubes will be used in Golden Ocala fitness classes, while existing exercise balls and TheraBands will be used for yoga, Pilates and stretch courses.
As a reminder, here is our 2021 fitness schedule:
- Pure Stretch with Jeff on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m.
- Yoga with Grace on Monday and Tuesday at 4 p.m. and Wednesday at 6 p.m.
- Mat Pilates with Dannielle on Monday and Friday at 12:30 p.m.
- Barre Pilates with Dannielle on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
If you’re a new client who needs help reaching your health goals, the Golden Ocala Fitness Center is also providing a BOGO training sessions package. But hurry, that offer ends January 31st!
In accordance with Golden Ocala’s COVID-safety policies, we’re requiring all members to wipe down equipment after every use. Our fitness team is also adhering to CDC guidelines by recommending that all members social distance while in and around the Fitness Center.
