Join Golden Ocala’s Cardio Boxing Classes To Get In Great Shape
Sure, Adrian Pennino may have run to bloody and bruised Rocky Balboa’s rescue four decades ago following the “world heavyweight championship match.” But despite the pummeling the Italian Stallion took at the hands of Apollo Creed, the 31-year-old Philadelphian was in pretty good shape – with all those cardio boxing classes he underwent.
While training the next heavyweight champions of the world may not be at the forefront of the cardio-boxing craze, it is a great workout program designed to put you in lean-and-mean shape.
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club’s Fitness Club is hosting a new exercise program designed to help members get fit, sleek and strong. The 4-week cardio workout is being dubbed the “Summer Cardio-Boxing Conditioning with the Pro.” And unlike Rocky (aka Sylvester Stallone), you won’t have anyone slugging back as you get in tip-top shape.
The workout for our cardio boxing classes includes:
- Two 30-minute boxing fundamentals and foot work sessions
- Two 30-minute hand skills sessions
- Two 30-minute defense technique sessions
- Two 30-minute boxing cardio drill with the pro sessions
That’s four hours total of a boxing bonanza that you’re sure to enjoy. We wouldn’t be surprised if you went dashing from Golden Ocala’s Fitness Center after a workout looking for a facsimile of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s front steps to go climbing.
