Creating A Master Plan For Fitness Workouts

Written By Jeffrey T. Spaeth, L.M.T., C.P.T.

A well planned out workout routine will go a long way to help anyone reach their workout goals. Whether it is losing weight, toning or gaining muscle, a good workout will lead to less stress in other areas of your life. In work or play, a number of experts agree that 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of exercise per week is sufficient.

A workout plan will help you stick to the program rather than just showing up at the gym and having no idea where to start. A workout out plan will also make the time you spend in the gym more productive.

Before starting, know the number of repetitions you will need to do and how much weight will make your workout less stressful.

Creating a Master plan will help accelerate your goals in the gym. It’s important to be consistent and focused during a workout. A good tip is to save the socializing with others until your workout is complete.
