“HOW CAN I BOTTLE THIS UP?”

This was the question Kenny Chesney kept asking himself on January 1, 2001 after spending time with some friends in the Caribbean. He was soaking up the sun on a boat ride back to shore when he looked up at the colors in the sky, felt the ocean breeze and thought, “how can this day get any better”?

Chesney wanted the world to taste the paradise he had just experienced. Straight from the beach-side distilleries on the waterline in Barbados, these “beach made and beach aged” Blue Chair Bay rums were born – White Rum, Coconut Rum, Coconut Spiced Rum and Banana Rum. The Blue Chair Bay White Rum is “beach made and blended”. Order this drink straight or in “Sumthin’ Blue”- a signature cocktail made of Blue Chair White Rum, Blue Curacao and white cranberry juice. Not a fan of this drink? No problem! Try “No Problems” – a signature drink with Blue Chair Bay White Rum, cola and a lime wedge.

Coconut Rum

The Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum is “blended from the island’s original coconut recipe”. With this rum, try something different like the “Sixth Gear” – a signature drink with Blue Bay Coconut Rum, Ginger Beer (or ale), light lager beer and a dash of angostura bitters (optional). Don’t want to venture out? You can never go wrong with the traditional, yet ever so delicious, “Pina Coloda” – Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum, Cream of Coconut and pineapple juice.

Coconut Spiced Rum

The Blue Chair Bay Coconut Spiced Rum is the “Island Warmth” and is a mixture of coconut rum, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove flavors. Drink this alone or try one of Chesney’s favorite mixed cocktails. You can try the “Cinnamon Sun” consisting of Blue Chair Bay Coconut Spiced Rum and Coconut Water. There is also the “Sailor’s Soul” made with Blue Chair Bay Coconut Spiced Rum, strawberry, a lemon wedge, agave nectar and 2 dashes of angostura bitters.

Banana Rum

The NEW Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum is a perfect combination of warm baking spices and a caramelized banana mix. Have the Banana rum by itself and taste the spirit of summer in every sip. You can also try the “Sweet Gypsy Cocktail” – a signature drink made with Blue Chair Banana Rum, passion fruit liqueur, pineapple juice, maraschino cherry juice and maraschino cherries to garnish.
