Enjoy ‘Dinner under the Stars’ this Presidents’ Day

If you happen to be free this Presidents’ Day, look no further for something to do than right in your own
backyard … at least as supper rolls arounds. Café on the Green is extending its hours for ‘Dinner under the
Stars,’ a member-inspired, casual attire event in celebration of HITS (Horses in the Sun) Ocala Winter Circuit.
This is the second evening of its kind this year hosted by Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club.
From 5 to 8 p.m., members can experience views of the lush golf course and resort-like pool area, while
savoring a custom-made meal and drifting the night away to the live musical stylings of Justin Lee Partin, who is
a Golden Ocala-event favorite.
Menu options include a sunflower seed crusted salmon served with diamond cut root vegetables and lemon
thyme risotto; a gluten-free, roasted chicken breast with white wine Dijon mustard, fresh herbs, caramelized
sweet potatoes and red onion; and a dry-aged, center-cut New York strip steak with wild mushroom ragout,
shaved, jumbo asparagus and tri-color baby potatoes.
And don’t forget to close your night with a divine piece of New York cheesecake, decorated with fresh berries
and raspberry puree, before relaxing by our cozy fire pit.
