Dixie Black Pepper Vodka
Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, Anyone?
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is proud to serve Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, a black pepper-flavored beverage, in our community restaurants. This handcrafted spirit was launched in 2014 in Charleston, South Carolina by Grain & Barrel Spirits, and offered by our bartending staff shortly thereafter. Dixie Black Pepper Vodka is six times distilled from 100% non-GMO, all-American corn and is gluten-free! The base spirit is then infused in two batches for one week each — one with Szechuan black peppercorns and another with Serrano peppers — before the infusions are blended.
A Prime Thirst-Quenching Option
Today, this spirit is available in restaurants, bars and stores throughout the Southeast. Of the people who have had the opportunity to try Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, many have become fans. In fact, just last week, the Ultimate Spirits Challenge awarded it the 2018 Chairman’s Trophy as the Top Flavored Vodka. Why this drink? The vodka is innovative from a culinary standpoint and awakens the palate with green bell peppers, fresh-cut grass, cucumber peel, lemon peel and a barnyard-ish taste.
The Spirits Challenge is the world’s most prestigious and progressive global spirits and cocktail competition, with entries from 52 countries. Dixie Black Pepper Vodka’s most recent honor complements the top Platinum Medal, as voted by consumers at the Sip Awards from 2014 to 2017, along with multiple gold medals and “Best Buy” endorsements by the Beverage Tasting Institute.
From Black Pepper to Bloody Dixie
With the southern charm and branding of Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, it lives up to its mantra — ”Handcrafted for Southerners, by Southerners.” This inspired Golden Ocala to create a twist, “Bloody Dixie,” which is a signature drink recipe that combines Dixie Black Pepper Vodka with our very own Bloody Mary mix.
To determine the deliciousness of this world-renowned drink, which now measures up to Deep Eddy, Smirnoff and Absolut, stop in to Raspberry’s, Knickers Bar & Grill, and/or Café on the Green on the grounds of Golden Ocala.
