Posh Pet Brunch Recap

Written by Barbara Whatley, Spa & Fitness Director.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to our Posh Pups Pet Brunch! This event was a lot of fun and the cutest puppy from the WOOF program found a home! Nemo, the blond Shar-Pei puppy in the photo below graduated from the program on Friday, 1/24/2014. His new owner and I had the pleasure of attending the graduation and I was amazed at what a great job these ladies did with these dogs.

The WOOF Program

Every 8 weeks, the Human Society of Marion County will bring a group of dogs to Lowell prison and at the end of eight weeks, the dogs will go up for adoption. This was the 15th graduating class and all but one puppy found a new home.

As of 1/24/2014, Minnie, the cute short puppy next to Nemo in the above picture was still up for adoption and taken to the Humane Society. If anyone is interested in finding a new family member, I suggest this program as a starting place in your search.

Thanks Again!

Again, thank you to all of our members who attended the event and I look forward to our next Posh Pet Brunch! Check out our event photos below and I will keep everyone posted on the next upcoming date as it becomes available.
