It doesn’t take a masters degree in organic chemistry to make Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club’s golf course look plush, green and perfect. But our scrupulous maintenance – using fertilizers and growth regulators at peak times in the season – ensures you experience the best golf outing on an 18-hole course that reflects the best and most masterful in the world.

We pay special attention to detail in maintaining this riveting championship course designed by Ron Garl, which recreates holes from some of the finest courses, including Augusta, Royal Troon, Baltusrol, Muirfield and St. Andrews.

We treat our course year-round with essential chemicals in order to achieve most ideal results: rolling fields of lovely, challenging green. During the summer we use growth regulators and go light on fertilizers to keep grass at ideal course conditions.

During the autumn we prepare our shortgrass for over seeding.

We manicure the entire grounds and surrounding areas every day to make sure Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian’s golf course exceeds the standards of excellence that are expected here. We undergo regular continuing education and training in course maintenance to make our course the best experience for our players.

Golden Ocala Golf Club offers players a 10-acre short game area with two practice hole and a driving range. The Golf Shop at Golden Ocala offers clubs, clothing and a wide variety of golf accessories, stocking only the finest in the sport. Private lessons are available with Golden Ocala’s PGA professional instructions, led by acclaimed by golf instructor John Elliot, Jr.
