Doing lunch at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is a delectable experience and offers menu options for whatever suits your taste buds.

Whether you want to enjoy a lunch entree following a round of golf or tennis match, as an added bonus on a spa day or just meeting friends, daily specials can often satisfy those appetites.

Golden Ocala’s Executive Chef Rick Alabaugh comes up with mouthwatering daily specials for Knickers. The menu of specials each week may include a spicy touch to a traditional BLT or a special twist to a cheeseburger.

The full menu includes a selection of favorite salads and sandwiches to choose from. However, some of the daily specials are not normally on the menu. It might be wise to try one of the daily specials, to get a taste of something different and let Chef Rick know what you thought of the entree.

Just the description of some of the specials is temptation enough.

The Barbecue Chicken sandwich features grilled chicken, fried onions, lettuce, tomatoes and Swiss cheese, on a brioche bun with coleslaw.

Anyone ever had a Chicken BLT salad? This amazing salad includes apple-smoked bacon, fried green tomatoes, grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and croutons served with spicy ranch dressing.

How about a Fried Egg Bacon cheeseburger? The burger is topped with lettuce, tomato, a fried egg, avocado and spicy mayo on a brioche bun.

If you have not tried either of these entrees, then you’ll have to join us for lunch whenever they are featured on the menu of daily specials.
