Meet The Culinary Team

Executive Chef Matt Colangelo

Executive Chef Matt Colangelo received his culinary inspiration at an early age having grown up in a large Italian family, and spending many hours in the kitchen surrounded by authentic cooks with a passion for creating fine food. Chef Colangelo received his formal training at the world renowned Culinary Institute of America and honed his skills by cooking in many fine restaurants and five-star hotels. After cooking for over 20 years he has developed a reputation as a world class Chef. His expertise incorporates all types of cuisines to which he brings a modern, contemporary flair, using the latest innovative techniques. His passion is delivering the finest food, using the best quality ingredients, taking full advantage of the freshest seasonal and local products available. In addition, Chef Colangelo is dedicated to mentoring his entire staff to develop their talents and creating a culinary team that will deliver the most creative menus.

Keeping Chef grounded is his family: Dana, his wife of 8 years, and his two sons, Ty age 6 and Zac who will soon be 4. Zac has already been bitten by the culinary bug and hopes to follow in his Dad\'s footsteps one day.
