Ocala, FL, August 21, 2008: To say that John Elliott, Jr. is on a roll would be a gross understatement. John, as Director of Golf Instruction at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, teaches in both Ocala, Florida and Chicago, Illinois, and his students are tearing up the links. This week alone four female and four males have qualified to represent their high schools at their state tournament. Hanna Buck, Melanie Walsh and Kayla Steuland from Illinois will be playing in Carbondale, Illinois. Heather Proctor, Wil Lane, Wes Hopkins, John Elliott III, Ty O'Shields and Richard Couch from Florida will drive south to Lakeland to compete at state for the second year in a row.

John has been teaching for over thirty years and “to have so many fine players headed to state is the thrill and honor of a lifetime! Any one of them has the talent and ability to win the event but the key will be patience and preparation”.

John is a former instructor with the Golf Digest Instruction Schools and is ranked as one of the top 50 instructors in Golf Digest and is also one of Golf Magazines Top 100.
